Up until recently, our properties have all had at least 2 bedrooms - but some of you will only need one!

To recognise this, we have introduced several luxury cottages ideal for the romantic couple wanting to experience that romantic cottage holiday.

Our most recent addition is Coastal Retreats@The Viking, in a prominent location overlooking the harbour in Seahouses, this is our latest venture for couples and small groups. Here we have two one bedroom apartments, Bamboo and Pampas along with four two bedroom apartments, Feathergrass, Bluegrass, Seagrass and Marram. With funky boutique interior design schemes, these chic apartments will appeal to those you love boutique hotel schemes and are looking for something a bit different from the norm.

The Studio at Tughall Steads - our beautiful one bedroom couples only cottage. We aren't geared up to take children in the Studio and so have made this retreat just perfect for couples

Coral Cottage at Budle Sands has two bedrooms and a lovely location within a small collection of renovated farm buidings. It makes an ideal cottage for couples. With a log fire and beatiful garden with superb sea views across Budle Bay towards Holy Island, this Coastal Retreat is proving popular.

We have also recently introduced The Little House at Tughall Steads and the Look Out Loft in Seahouses for couples. These two properties form part of larger properties and at certain times of the year, we can close some of the rooms off and make them available to couples as a one bedroom property.

Another property recently opened to guests......The Lodge at Shirewater in Embleton is a stylish romantic cottage in the grounds of a late 1920's country house. With one bedroom is ideal for couples and also for couples with a baby in tow.

The Smuggler's Hide, Harbour Master's House, Glebe Cottage and The Hemmel are also perfect for couples wanting to experience that romantic break.

We can also make a new offer to couples wishing to book any of our larger properties (Grade D, E, F, G properties). For couples booking these luxury cottages and only using the one bedroom, we will be delighted to offer 10% off the published price.
