Five star graded by VisitBritain 2008...Completely renovated and refurbished in 2004, this property makes one of the best holiday cottages in the area. Formerly a granary and dating back to the 18th Century, this historic cottage is in a fabulous location near the harbour, in the oldest part of Seahouses. It is situated in the conservation area where the old smokeries and herring yards of this quaint fishing village once stood. Superbly placed in open countryside, this single storey stone home was formerly a farm workers cottage. Now fully renovated to 5 star standards, this deceptively spacious coastal retreat makes an ideal place for a holiday. Situated in the farming hamlet of Tughall Steads just a short drive from the sea, and as the name suggests, it has a lovely garden, in fact, two. With a warm and cosy interior design scheme, cast iron log burner set in a large original inglenook fireplace, heavy tartan fabrics, oak finishes and a superb collection of original paintings, a wonderful quintessential country cottage has been created!

Glebe Cottage is a beautifully renovated spacious barn conversion with two bedrooms, in the heart of Tughall Steads, looking out on to a large open courtyard area and surrounded by lovely open countryside.
Sleeping 4/5 guests, this is an ideal country cottage for couples and small families. This is our only cottage to welcome a small well behaved dog for bookings from Sept onwards!

Moo House, as the name suggests, started life as a barn and cow shed. Moo House offers a light and airy coastal living space with a contemporary style - all finished to a five star level. With its 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, this large property is perfect for a 'get away from it all' self catering break, for house parties, family reunions, golf breaks and girly weekends. A minute’s walk from the sea and just as close to the restaurants and shops of this buzzing fishing village, this cottage offers something for everyone.
BEADNELL VILLAGE
With its prime location opposite St Ebba’s Church in the centre of Beadnell village, this newly built stone end terrace epitomises coastal chic. This small and exclusive corner of the village is named Smugglers Cove – in the 18th century Beadnell was a favourite haunt of smugglers, evading customs officers to bring rum and gin ashore. Smugglers’ Hide is ideally placed for access to the beach, rock pools and the gin and rum of the village pubs! The interior is light and airy and the décor is a background of crisp white with splashes of original artwork and nautical quirks.

Adjoining another of our properties, The Granary, this cottage retains so much of the character of the original farm steading, with its huge original roof trusses and hemmel arches which have been carefully blended in to the conversion design. Here, rustic architecture sits comfortably next to contemporary but cosy style. Add to this, a splendid professionally designed garden with gazebo and patio area and the context of this peaceful farm hamlet, and this makes a wonderful holiday retreat.It is perfect for couples and small families and has been a honeymoon venue for several couples already with a few more booked in for 2008!

In a prime location right on the harbour in Seahouses, the stunning sea view over the harbour is the main attraction of this architect designed two storey house. From its two balconies, affording views towards the Farne Islands, this is a superb place to stay for those wanting to be so close to the sea. The hustle and bustle of harbour life is close at hand and everything is on the doorstep - the beach, rocks, Ocean Club, shops, restaurants and the best real ale pub in the region! This makes it possible to spend a few days without even using your car!
The Plaice is frequently booked by artists and photographers. When you stay here, you'll understand why.

This is our first cottage for couples in the collection and as such we expect a lot of interest. It's a very spacious cottage for two and ideal for couples coming to the area for walking, cycling, golfing or just chilling out. We expect the Studio to appeal to discerning holiday guests and especially honeymoon couples and those wanting a bit of space and luxury.
