From the South
Travelling north on the A1, passing the towns of Morpeth and Alnwick, take the next right turn after the B6347 signposted to Christon Bank, Seahouses and Doxford Country Store. It is signposted to Preston Tower, Chathill, Ellingham and Doxford Hall. Continue along this country road until a T-junction is reached. Turn left here, it is signposted to Seahouses and Beadnell. Continue through Chathill, over the railway crossing and into the hamlet of Swinhoe. The Bradshawgate Cottages are situated almost immediately on the left hand side of the road opposite the post box. (You'll see a stone obelisk in the centre of a lawn to the front). Turning left into the driveway, Nook End Cottage is found at the end of the row of four stone cottages. Driftwood is next door.
From the North
Travelling south on the A1, passing Belford, Bamburgh and Lucker, take the left hand turn signposted to Ellingham, Preston, Chathill and Doxford Hall. Continue along this country road until a T-junction is reached. Turn left here, it is signposted to Seahouses and Beadnell. Parking
There are two car parking spaces for each cottage, plus extra spaces for visitors on a gravel drive near the barbeque area and large lawn.
There is a garage opposite Driftwood which houses the sun lounges, golf clubs, children's bikes etc. Another garage has been converted into a games room with a full sized table tennis table, table football, magnetic darts board and children's blackboard - ideal in wet weather!
