Take the B1340 heading East from the A1. From the A1 this is also marked as the turn off for Alnwick and the Alnwick Garden and to Seahouses and Bamburgh.
Head towards the Northumbrian Coast through the village of Denwick. From here you should look out for signs to Craster and Dunstanburgh Castle. Travel for 3 miles on this road, before leaving this road as it sweeps to the left with a right turn signposted Dunstanburgh, take a right and then a left turn heading past Lee Moor Farm.
You are now on Windyside Hill. Follow this road for 1 mile until you come to a staggered crossroad. Cross the B1339 by turning right and then immediately turning left rejoining Windyside Hill. Pass through the railway crossing and follow this road for 1.5 miles until you come to a crossroad. Go straight ahead passing the Craster Tower and the small garden centre on your right, going through the stone castellated archway.
Continue down the hill until you reach a T junction. Turn right and follow the road into Craster. Stay on this road driving down into the village until you see the sea. Turn left at the sea and drive to the end of the road. Open the gate into National Trust land and you will see the Craster Rocks semi detached property up on the left
