Garden Cottage
Sleeps 4/6 Bedrooms 3 Bathrooms 1 Location -Tughall Steads .jpg)

Attractively placed in the historic hamlet of Tughall Steads, Garden Cottage is just a few minutes drive from the coast. With the villages of Beadnell and Newton by-the-Sea within easy access, holiday guests will enjoy the convenience of this beautiful countryside location, which is within sight of the sand dunes and the sea.
The Garden Cottage is a single storey restored farm workers cottage, with professionally designed interior décor and equipped to five star standards. The Garden Cottage has been awarded a 5 star grade by VisitBritain in February 2008!
As the name implies, the cottage boasts a garden, in fact two. One has a patio with table, chairs, barbeque and open views of the surrounding countryside looking towards the coast and the other with timber play equipment, wendy house and parking for 2 cars.
It is owned by Bill and Jo who live in Stokesley with their young family and who use the cottage themselves as their holiday home. We were involved from the outset with the interior design of the cottage and are thrilled with the results. Upon completion, we couldn't have failed to want the Garden Cottage in our private collection. It is a beautiful cosy country cottage with warmth and character which will no doubt prove popular with our guests.
The Garden Cottage welcomed its first guests in 2006 and has received several repeat bookings from satisfied visitors. Several of our guests have booked the Garden Cottage along with one or two of the other properties at Tughall.
It is a beautiful quintessential luxury Northumberland cottage.

'The Garden Cottage was just the retreat we needed as a young family. I would even say that for once we wouldn't have minded if the weather was poor, as relaxing in this gorgeous cottage was just great! This holiday has also introduced us to a wonderful part of Britain and we look forward to exploring this region time and time again! Thanks for everything'.....Nick Armstrong, Derbyshire, April 2006
'After a long journey, it was a delight to arrive here and to experience the welcome of Garden Cottage. Everyday, it was a delight to wake up here and then to return here after a day out. The children loved it all. Addressing the needs of children in so many ways (even nappies in the emergency box), was just wonderful'.......Catherine Drury, Rutland, April 2006
