Location and Locality
Located on a quiet lane leading down towards the beach in Alnmouth - our most southerly coastal cottage location. This is a popular seaside village located on an estuary and close to Warkworth. A picturesque coastal village, Alnmouth was originally founded as a medieval borough or new town in 1150. The town became established as a grain port and shipbuilding centre between the years of 1207 and 1208. Today Alnmouth remains a beautiful and interesting village and is worth exploring. There are a variety of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and gift shops for the discerning visitor to enjoy. 2 good golf courses and a great beach complete the picture. Alnwick is a 10 minute drive away.

Candid Comments ( telling you the only downsides we can think of about a property before you book!)
Guests should note that their is no bath at this property but the shower is a large walk-in style luxury one. There is no private parking space for this property just on street parking outside. In Summer, parking space can be at a premium in Alnmouth so guests may find they cannot park right outside the door. Overall the property is compact but very well-designed with a light and airy feel and furnishings and decor which more than compensate. There is no log fire but the views through the large window provide the focal point. With a number of steps both outside and inside the property, this would not be suitable for those with mobility problems.
No landline - sorry. The owners have left a charged mobile for your use in case you don't have your own mobile
