Seagrass is one of our larger apartments in this architecturally exciting seafront development of luxury harbourside boltholes, @ The Viking. Designed to state-of-the-art Scandinavian specifications using timber stone and slate to harmonise with the surrounding coastal architecture, The Viking building offers contemporary apartment accommodation unrivalled on the Northumberland coast.
All of our six apartments have been awarded a 5 star grade by the English Tourism Council/VisitBritain for 2010 and additionally they have all been awarded a Gold Award
Situated on the first floor, Seagrass offers guests sea views towards the Farne Islands as they sit on the balcony off the lounge/kitchen. The open-plan living accommodation marries hot pinks and cool limes with natural linen tones and textures using fabrics from Designers Guild and Osbourne and Little giving the apartment a contemporary, luxurious feel and a definite 'wow' factor. Bernhart Interiors have produced something very special here and the scheme has given the apartment a relaxing and peaceful feel.
The furnishings and fixtures meet the highest of specifications throughout, with the added convenience of private parking,stair and lift access and the use of a communal seafront garden. Free unlimited use of the nearby Ocean Leisure Club is given to all Seagrass guests so, whatever the weather, you can swim, spa and soak all day!

More suited to older children than toddlers due to its apartment location and no specific facilities for children - although the Ocean Leisure Club is within walking distance! A travel cot and high chair are available on request, the apartment works well for parents with babies and all children will appreciate the pool facilities
Location and Locality
Very central position within Seahouses. Handy for the harbour, the beach, the shops and the swimming pool!

The overall feeling was one where "finally we have found accommodation to match the holiday destination." With that sorted then we could just set about enjoying the break. The handy tips and list of activities were most helpful and allowed us time to go and visit them. We found lots to do and it was great to come home at night and just relax. All our needs were catered for, including wireless internet access, and membership of the Ocean Club was a real bonus. The view from Seahouses towards Bamburgh Castle is now the desktop of our computer.
