This contemporary country/coastal barn conversion is of our two bedroom properties in the collection. It is a favourite with couples and small families. It is perhaps more spacious downstairs than some of our 3 bedroom cottages and the big draw, is the separate snug room, which is ideal for keeping the children quiet for a while! With a squashy sofa, TV, DVD player and piles of books and games, this little room has bags of interest.

Children at Glebe Cottage
A patio area, but no garden as such, means this falls short of our full 5 starfish rating. However, there is communal 'playing out' space in this quiet collection of converted farm buildings and inside there is a wonderful 'snug' or play room with dressing up box and games console amongst other things to please children of all ages!
Location and Locality
Tughall Steads is a quiet farm hamlet made up of converted farm buildings. Between Newton by the sea and Beadnell, it has a rural location but is still only minutes from the sea.
