AWARDED A 5 STAR GRADE BY VISITBRITAIN 2010

So far, our guests have been delighted with what we've done at Coral Cottage and some guests have already made a repeat booking!

Coral Cottage is part of a group of a recently converted Grade II Listed barns at Budle Sands, in a beautiful location at Budle Bay, just a couple of miles north of Bamburgh. The cottage has a sheltered garden with distant sea views over the bay from the garden, through tall trees towards Lindisfarne and Holy Island. Budle Bay is a haven for sea birds of many types. The tidal coastline and saltmarshes of the bay provide an abundant food supply for the birds, some of which travel thousands of miles to breed before departing to their winter homes. The ancient Christian stronghold of Holy Island is a short drive. It is home to the Lindisfarne Gospels and can be reached at low tide by the causeway. Bamburgh Castle, beach and village are about 1.5 miles to the south by road or a little further by a coastal footpath.

Please note there are no sea views from the actual cottage, only from the entrance to the farm buildings and from the garden of Coral Cottage

'Absolutely stunning!'

'Your cottages just keep on getting better and better. We've stayed at four Coastal Retreats now and know that we'll have a superb holiday whichever cottage we choose but we must say we have especially enjoyed staying here at Coral Cottage. It has a lovely cosy feel and we have made good use of the sunloungers in the garden. The weather has been lovely and we have also made good use of the lovely patio table with its fairy lights. We must get some of these for home!. See you again in the Autumn'

'This cottage has been perfect for us as a family of 3. We loved our evening walks down to Budle Bay and really enjoyed your recommendation to visit Ross Sands. Wow, what an amazing beach. Not another person around. Perfect!'

'We stayed here at the start of the summer and have just had a beautiful warm and sunny September weekend. Both holidays made such a refreshing change to our usual holidays and we will almost certainly be back. We love this little cottage and will return here or may give the Lodge a visit as we really like the Embleton area too'
