Prices and Availability
Bamburgh is arguably the most famous settlement on the Northumberland coast with its castle visible from miles around and its period buildings and interesting shops making it popular with visitors. Bamburgh Six sits amongst other apartments in private grounds in the shadow of the castle and close to village amenities. Within Bamburgh itself are one or two gift and antique shops, pubs, restaurants and tea shops. The old church is central to the village and the famous Grace Darling Museum attracts visitors with its story of maritime heroism. The local tennis court is just paces from Bamburgh Six (pick up the keys from the Victoria Hotel. Book ahead in the summer and during Wimbledon weeks)

Arrival and Departure
Arrival: 4pm ( 3pm from Nov-March)
An ideal holiday retreat for a small family or 2 couples holidaying together. The village location makes it ideal for holidaymakers wanting to use their legs rather than the car or even stay put and enjoy the castle views! Ideal for those attending weddings at the castle.
With a 3 starfish rating this apartment is very welcoming to children with the smaller of the three bedrooms having an appealing decor and toys. The property is all on the ground floor and the communal garden provides welcome play space although does not have outdoor toys or equipment. Ball games are not permitted on this communal lawn but is allowed on the adjacent huge cricket field and the Bamburgh children’s play park and tennis court are only a minute’s walk away. A travel cot (please bring your own cot linen) and highchair are available on request

Set in communal grounds with 1 designated parking bay but additional cars must take their chance on visitor parking spaces being available or park nearby in the village. You have a private dining terrace but barbecues are not permitted in the grounds.
At full capacity, the space in the living and dining area may be a little cosy so please be aware if you are booking for 5 or 6 adults.
We also ask guests to be aware that this is a ground floor apartment and that noise may occasionally be heard from the apartment above and this is very much dependent on the individual and is a characteristic of apartment living!
Be aware that mobile reception almost impossible in Bamburgh
The location was brilliant. Didn't use the car for most of the week and managed to eat and drink in the village most evenings and spent a lot of time on Bamburgh Beach. We didn't feel the need to go anywhere else really, it was so perfect
We couldn't quite believe the view that we would be waking up to every morning. The photos on the website looked amazing, but this view is even more spectacular in the flesh. The whole apartment was very impressive and we have had a most enjoyable and restful holiday. Thanks to the Coastal Retreats team. We've been most impressed with the service from start to finish
Highlights of this holiday include staying so close to the Castle, really comfy bed, being so close to the beach, eating mussels in the Mizen Fish Restaurant and watching the stars on the beach at night with our little BBQ and bottle of wine. Blissful. What a perfect way to spend our honeymoon!
