Prices and Availability
Budle Falls makes a great base for exploring the magnificent Northumbrian coastline and countryside, close to walks and cycle routes. Set next to the shoreline of Budle Bay wildlife reserve, it lies only 2 miles from Bamburgh with its historic castle, many amenities and beaches and the village of Belford inland. Close by is Holy Island, with one of the most important centres of early christianity in Anglo Saxon England, the Lindisfarne Priory.
This cottage also has the benefit, despite its rural location, of being within walking distance of a highly recommended restaurant in the Waren House Hotel (for adults without children). You are also within a short drive of Ross Sands where you can collect fresh oysters from the local oyster farm.

Children at Budle Falls
We have given this our highest 5 star rating as children will be delighted by all this cottage has to offer. They will love to play Pooh Sticks over the little bridge and run free in the woods and paddocks, spotting signs or even catching a glimpse of the vast array of wildlife including foxes, badgers, rabbits, deer, woodpeckers and bats. The garden and children’s play area shared with the owners will thrill the young guests. Other items for the younger ones in your party include dressing up box, games, toy box, swing ball, sand pit and selection of buckets & spades. There is also a games room with pool and football tables, shared with neighbouring Budle Haugh. A travel cot (please bring your own cot linen), highchair, baby bath, baby rucksack, stroller and steriliser can be provided on request.
Full central heating and logburner in lounge

Our first time on the farm, but definitely not our last. We love this part of the world and thoroughly enjoyed our few days; walking on the beaches, exploring the farm" and sipping tea and coffee (…and beer and wine!?!) Thank you for making us feel so welcome – it means a lot. Thanks for the extras too – and our son loved it here! Highlights? Low Newton to Dunstanburgh on the Beach, Craster to Howick and of course, Bamburgh - stunning (oh, and the Shoreline Café in Craster – nice cake!)
This was our third visit to Budle Falls. The refreshed cottage is still as inviting and cosy as ever, and the new sofas are very comfy. Our son loved feeding there animals and collecting eggs. Apart from the farm, his favourite place was Barter Books in Alnwick. Can't wait to come back in the summer
Lovely, lovely cottage. Warm and snug, especially with the log fire burning. We had a fantastic week with good weather and good walks – sad to go home!
A wonderful cottage – the more you look, the more you find. We've had a fabulous time here, both "home" and throughout Northumberland. The children loved the toys and all the outside space. Halloween party invite was a thoughtful touch by Allison, my appreciated by the little ones! We walked to Bamburgh a couple of times, catching the bus back; day at Alnwick Castle and it's gardens; saw plenty of seals at the Farne Islands and had a fantastic day at Cragside an Amazing National Trust house and estate. Many a memory has been had…
We were immediately impressed by this wonderful cottage and it's lovely surroundings. The little details such as the age appropriate toys for our son; the tour of the grounds and introduction to the animals are what made this holiday a cut above anywhere else we've stayed. Our lad particularly loved feeding the ducks and pigs. Our favourite places were Alnwick Gardens (don't forget a change of clothes for the kids!); Barter Books – my personal favourite – I could have stayed all day; Low Newton beach – enjoyed a nice drink in The Ship Inn after; Our son loved riding the train at Ford and Etal. All in all a fantastic holiday and we shall definitely return one day! Thank you
What a fantastic little holiday, this was booked as a surprise for my 40th birthday. We had a wonderful time at Budle Falls. The children especially loved the time they spent with Allison's children and really did not want to leave – they particularly liked playing with the large leaves! Loved Bamburgh, the castle, little shops and pubs, we particularly loved our fun packed days on the glorious beach in the sunshine. We LOVE Northumberland!
Wonderful place to stay and superb location. A lot of love and passion has been put into the cottage and everything has been thought of. We can't wait to return and will tell people what a special place this is
We really appreciated all the little touches that genuinely made Budle Falls feel like ( a posher) version of home
Allison and her family made us feel so welcome yet do not interfere. We have visited other cottages but always return here. It is like a home from home. See you again next year
We have had some lovely downtime this weekend. Our boys have enjoyed the freedom and it is brilliant to see them with mucky knees instead of technology surfing
