White, clean contemporary lines characterise this luxury beachside retreat, set down a private road, within metres of the sand, the rocks and the dunes at Beadnell Bay. The minimalist feel follows through the interior, with a bespoke kitchen and a contemporary log burner taking centre stage in the open plan ground floor living space.
Duneside House’s décor conjures up the sea with use of Farrow and Ball whites, greys and blues. The superb Mowlem & Co kitchen, showcasing cupboards handpainted in Stiffkey Blue and topped with London Grey Ceaserstone work surfaces, is an excellent socialising hub in this group getaway for 10. You’ll also find little touches there to make your holiday flow more easily, such as the two ovens, 16-bottle wine cooler, coffee machine and a boiling water tap.

The beds and bedding were soooo comfortable at the house- where was the bedding from?!? Two of our party have now ordered the same mattresses for home!
We booked Duneside House for a girls weekend away. Beautiful house and a great location - 90 second walk from the beach!
The house had everything we needed and the girls are now planning on booking the place again so they can take their families. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a luxurious stay close to an amazing coastline!
Our weekend was wonderful. The property was amazing. It is exactly as shown on the website. We could see it was well furnished, but thought it would be smaller in dimension than it appeared in the photos. How wrong. The kitchen equipment was superb. Very high spec. Similarly throughout the house everything was high quality. It was perfect and so near the beach too. We were celebrating our Golden Wedding with our children and grandchildren. Everyone had an amazing time. The boys who are aged 7 and 10 and extremely well travelled internationally, declared it the best weekend they had ever had.
Superb property. Spacious, light, contemporary, fresh and just perfect for our large extended family. We particularly enjoyed the location as it meant the children could wander down to the beach (and the ice cream van), on their own. We used the garden, sat outside in the sun and enjoyed lovely family meals round the large sociable table.
We booked Duneside with Shoreline for two large families getting together to celebrate a 50th birthday in the family. This couldn't have been better. Coastal Retreats advised us perfectly. It was our first time in the area and we were amazed. The North East coast is gorgeous and a well kept secret.
