Just a mile outside of the very popular and picturesque village of Bamburgh with views from the front of The New Diary to Bamburgh Castle and the sea. It sits adjacent to one of our other cottages – The Bamburgh Coach House ( sleeps 5), The Clock House (sleeps 4), The Chimney (sleeps 8) and Skyfall (sleeps 4) – ideal for a group of people wanting to holiday in the same place but with their own separate space

This cottage would suit a small family. It would give a couple holidaying on their own plenty of space without feeling too large, and so could equally offer a romantic retreat for 2.
Children are very welcome at this property and it gains our 4 starfish rating. There is a small enclosed front lawned garden and a boat load of toys. A travel cot(please bring your own cot linen) and highchair are available on request. The second room is set up as a children’s retreat with space for chilling and playing -kids will love it. Sleeps 1 or 2 (please request the additional truckle bed when booking if needed)
LPG underfloor heating and contemporary gas fire in the living room

What a gorgeous coastal retreat! We relaxed as soon as we walked through the door! We enjoyed the décor, the films, the boardgames, and we enjoyed the kitchen. We wish we could’ve stayed longer
Had a wonderful holiday with our daughter, Ava (9 weeks). Cottage was perfect and really appreciated the extra mile the owners had gone – cake, coffee, marmalade. Highly recommend The Mizen Head in Bamburgh for lunch! Well done!
Beautiful cottage. Views are fantastic. Recommend The Barn at Beal for great breakfasts (including veggie) and lunches.
Fantastic cottage – very impressed, spotlessly clean, amazing décor – very modern. It literally has everything – even a proper coffee machine and an egg frying pan! I, originally, booked it for myself and my partner for a relaxing time away from the rat race – we enjoyed it so much that I fetched my little boy and we enjoyed a Sunday together. We will be back!
We loved this cottage. It was really like we have seen in your promotion film. It was perfect and very clean. We felt very comfortable and will surely come back. We loved your welcome package, it was just what we needed after a long journey – sitting in front of the house with a good cup of coffee and this wonderful castle and afterwards this good wine! Thanks a lot!
