Slow down and relax at our New Retreats

Coastal Retreats Blog 8 September 2020

You don’t have to travel far to feel the benefits of exploring someplace new. With its miles of coastline and never-ending skies, there’s no reason not to slow down and enjoy the beauty of Northumberland’s landscapes from any one of these new Retreats.

Shoreline Apartment

You can’t get closer to the action than at this first-floor two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Craster village. New to our collection this autumn, it is nestled above the Shoreline Cafe, where you can grab breakfast or lunch, and has sea views over the stone cottages and roof tops. It’s also in walking distance of gastro pub The Jolly Fisherman and its open plan living area features a cosy log burner – perfect for the coming months. Sleeps 4

Red Herring

Red Herring Outside

Another Retreat coming soon to our Craster collection is Red Herring, a 200-year-old whinstone cottage near the harbour and gastro pub. Currently undergoing a major renovation, it is expected to open to guests in early 2021 bringing with it a spacious, contemporary design within a quaint cottage shell. A former school house, the renovation will retain original features and be distinctly coastal in its interior. Sleeps 4

Seaside House

From the owners of neighbouring Duneside House comes this equally fabulous beachside Retreat at Beadnell Bay. From the pure white and blue colour palette to the floor to ceiling glass designed to allow the sea colours flood in, this is one getaway that will have you singing ‘oh I do like to be beside the seaside’ as you step out onto the nearby sands. Available to book now for summer 2021. Sleeps 8
