A recent renovation at Tweedswood, our 200-year-old Borders cottage, saw its owners remodel the master bedroom to add an ensuite, transforming this Retreat into an even more luxurious space.
Tucked neatly into the corner of the main bedroom, the ensuite shower room adds a new dimension to the cottage, creating a two-bedroom, two-bathroom Retreat and making it even more comfortable for couples holidaying together or for a family with older children.
Fitted to the highest specification, the ensuite is accessed by a beautiful barn-style sliding door in keeping with the style of Tweedswood. Throughout the cottage contemporary styling mixes with original features and this feel has been replicated in the ensuite where the sink sits elegantly on a piece of French oak.
Fired Earth limestone tiles with underfloor heating combine with low level LED lighting for a warm and calming atmosphere, but what truly finishes off the room is the view of the Tweed Valley hills from the window. Taking getting back to nature to whole new level.
