All the ingredients to conjure up some seaside fun can be found in the bustling fishing village of Seahouses on the North Northumberland coast. Boat trips from the harbour give way to island adventures at The Farnes with their unrivalled views and opportunities to glimpse local wildlife; puffins, terns, osprey, grey seals and occasionally dolphins. Back on shore, there’s a range of restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes, not forgetting the obligatory ice cream and fish and chips, as well as sandcastles and rookpooling on the beaches.

Our Seahouses Retreats
Our luxury Seahouses cottages make gorgeous couple’s Retreats and exciting family and group getaways. All located within the village, they are all in walking distance of the beach, harbour, shops, restaurants and the private Ocean Club leisure centre of which membership (small entry fee applies) is provided with a Coastal Retreats booking.
Cottages with sea views
Bluegrass (sleeps 4), a first floor apartment, easily accessible by a lift, is Scandi chic in style and has partial views of the coast from its balcony and lounge.

Slightly apart from the commercial hub of Seahouses, but only a minute away on foot is our urban and coastal styled apartment, Salt Air (sleeps 4), with panoramic sea views and a professionally-designed interior. In the same building, but on the ground floor, is The Beach Pad (sleeps 4) for a cool, bright and lively vibe. A high-end surf shack styled apartment with retro and contemporary furnishings, the amazing sea views from the bedroom and living area will get you right in the holiday mood.

Group getaway
For small groups of up to seven people. Seafarer’s is a traditional cottage with a distinct arty feel in the old quarter of Seahouses, close to the harbour and handy for the renowned Swallow Fish smokery. The flexible sleeping accommodation of the third bedroom with its double and single beds, plus its two first floor bathrooms, makes it ideal for a number of children to share or a family group.
