Description

Taking bookings from September 2021, this exquisitely renovated holiday home boasts a most popular location overlooking the dunes of Bamburgh beach. Armstrong 7 neighbours Armstrong 8, with its green/grey painted beach hut-style exterior commanding attention along the road towards Bamburgh Castle.

The owners of Armstrong 7 have taken the shell of a traditional green Armstrong cottage, and have transformed it into a gorgeous by-the-beach bolthole. Sleeping four in two bedrooms, both with ensuite showers, and benefiting from a light and airy open-plan living space, Armstrong 7 has all the makings of a year-round holiday destination. Within walking distance of Bamburgh village and castle, it has its own private garden for al fresco meals after days at the beach and a log burner for cooler days. A tasteful colour scheme blends with timber, marble and bold soft furnishings to create a highly luxurious interior.

Reviews

We did send a couple of emails whilst at the cottage,, which we were advised were passed on to the Holiday Support Team but we received no feedback. The garden furniture had to be cleaned before we could use it and some parts of the cottage were not as clean as expected. The promised Welcome Pack was not provided. It would have been helpful to know the Nespresso Machine only took the large capsules as we had taken the small ones. Also microwave not really easy to use as it was so low down. The cottage was well laid out and comfortable. All in all, we were slightly disappointed for the price we paid.

Mrs Caroline H,

The property was beautiful, clean and well located. However we felt the lack of welcome pack (we'd expect tea and milk as a minimum) and shampoo let it down considering the otherwise premium feel of the property and booking.

Ms Victoria B,

Excellent cottage, lovely and quality interior, location lovely. Would recommend and would return if there was a reason for me to return to the area in future.

Ms Joanne H,

We have stayed in many of your cottages because you can rely on high quality accommodation. Also the descriptions are very accurate.

Mrs Carol L,

Great quality property in a perfect location

Mr Terry J,

The property has been beautifully designed, decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Even the utensils and crockery was very good quality. There was everything we needed in the property including the welcome pack. We knew the location which was a 10 min walk into Bamburgh, perfect for getting around and walking on the beach.

Mr Adrian H,

The cottage was beautiful, exceeded expectations. We had the best time and made fabulous memories. Everything we needed had been supplied/ thought of.

Mrs Joy C,

We stayed in the room which had the shower room and the bed wasn't very comfy I think due to it being 2 beds put together to make a double.

Mrs Jeni W,

Lovely property within a 15 minute walk of Bamburgh and 5 minutes of the beach.

Mr G,

Armstrong 7 provided an ideal holiday home for our visit to Northumberland. On the edge of Bamburgh village and a few moments drive from vibrant Seahouses the location is spot on. The jewel in the crown is the magnificent beach just across the road beyond the dunes. The cottage itself is very well appointed with all mod cons set to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Ideal for all ages we had one of the best holidays in recent years at Armstrong 7 and will look forward to returning in the future.

Mr C,

Fabulous location, exceptional cottage renovated to a very high standard, with quality fixtures and furnishings creating a very comfortable holiday home.

Mrs W,

Location

Armstrong 7 has an unrivalled location, within walking distance of the beach and just a few minutes' stroll from the centre of Bamburgh with its castle, museum, places to eat and small shops. Holy Island is north of Bamburgh and The Farne Islands can be accessed from Seahouses harbour, just five minutes south.
