Reviews

Craster Colours is a quirky, colourful and comfortable house. We had a lovely week despite the weather. Very well equipped with everything you need for self catering. We had a small problem with the electrics but this was dealt with and instructions given to help.us fix the problem. The grandchildren loved the garden and all the toys in the house.

Mrs F,

A lovely cottage in a beautiful place. It was a great place to have a family holiday. Cooking a meal for 12 was challenging on the Aga!! The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The extra touches were greatly received. The pub in the village served lovely food and was only a stones throw away. We had a great holiday and would highly recommend craster colour.

Mrs W,

Fantastic house for our family to celebrate my Mum and Dad’s 80th birthday. Very well equipped. Everything you could wish for and comfortable, spacious, clean. All of the family enjoyed it. Perfect.

Mrs C,

We had a great stay at Coaster Colours. A lot of thought has clearly gone into making it as comfortable and well-equipped as possible and it was great that it was so dog friendly (we really appreciated the towels in particular!). The house worked really well for our group of 3 families over New Year and is in a great location.

Mrs N,

We have loved our stay here- all of the quirky and colorful touches, and the thoughtful provisions of essentials (and some treats!) The kids in the family have had a fantastic time here! We were all really comfortable and had a great holiday!

We spent the weekend here celebrating a 60th birthday, couldn't have found a lovelier place to do so!! We absolutley loved your wonderful quirky, warm and comfortale home! The bedrooms are so lovely with such beautiful views and attention to detail. The downstairs/outside has been just perfect as a place for all of us to enjoy together as a family. We played endless games of bowels and used the board games too. All the lovely touches from the provision in the fridge upoon arrival, to the coffee pods, buscuits, tea bags, popcorn and dog buscuits et were much appreciated! Thank you for a truly wonderful stay, we will defintley stay again!!!

Previous Customer,

This property exceeded our expectations. Amazing décor, quirky and interesting not to mention colourful! So much space for us all to spread out and do our own thing, or come together as a family. The Aga takes a little getting used to. Loved every minute of our stay.

Mrs W,

Craster Colours was everything and then some!

Miss Hayley S,

The house was perfect for our family get together 10 adults 2 children an infant and 4 dogs. It was very well equipped and the outside space was great. Good location. It was very comfortable and homely meaning everyone felt at ease. All the bedrooms were spacious the bathrooms too. The amazing dining/kitchen was perfect for us all to eat together - only drawback was the aga that was gorgeous but slightly daunting for those who are not used to aga cooking however we managed. The Cottage Inn a few yards away was welcoming and accommodated us all including the dogs for a lovely lunch. We all agreed we’d love a return visit.

Mrs Alison F,

Craster colours is exactly as it is described on your website. There was plenty of space for 3 generations to spend a week together. It truly was a home from home and had everything we needed and more. Thanks for an amazing break!

Mrs Ann S,

Excellent, well equipped accomation, perfect for exploring the surrounding areas

Mrs Amanda B,

Craster colours is amazing, lots of space and there was 9 of us and 4 dogs. Had everything you needed including some extras. Would highly recommend this property!

Mr Keith L,

House very good, spacious and very well equipped on the whole. We were there for a family Christmas and it was excellent, the lovely garden would be great in the Summer. However, there was nowhere to put clothes for four people in the family room, had to leave in cases, and couples could have done with bigger beds - doubles not really big enough. Otherwise excellent.

Mrs Hilary F,

He house was beautifully comfortable and full of thoughtful touches

Mrs Louise B,

Location

Set down a private driveway in the middle of the village of Dunstan, just a short walk from the sea and the village of Craster where you'll find a good food pub, a seafood restaurant, art gallery and coffee shop based around the picturesque harbour and the magnificent vista of Dunstanburgh Castle. The house has parking for several cars and there are numerous walks from the doorstep, not just the walk to the village pub a few metres away!
