Terms and Conditions
Beadnell is a small village centred around a picturesque harbour and crescent-shaped sandy beach which is very popular with families, walkers and watersports enthusiasts. It is quieter than neighbouring Seahouses but still has a village shop and a couple of decent pubs where food is served and a good pint. There is also a cafe which transforms into a bistro by night.
For further information on the area, see our Beadnell section.

Reviews and Ratings
Our cottages are graded according to how stylish they are and how welcoming they are to children.

To assist you in finding the perfect place to stay, we have awarded our cottages a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum style rating. This is based on our own standards and the award is given according to a mixture of criteria - location, aesthetic appeal, standard of luxury, facilities offered and style factors.
For example, a Platinum award goes to our most stylish and all round exclusive properties and a Bronze award may go to a cottage that may be a little less refined in places but still meets the high standards necessary to fit into the collection.

Children are welcome at The Bolthole, but the only amenities are a few toys and games and a small courtyard garden. The beach, however, is a short walk away and very child friendly with washing facilities and toilets.

I have both contracted and stayed in holiday lets worldwide and the attention to detail in this cottage is exceptional. The location and surrounding facilities are excellent: parking, outside patio, proximity to eateries, seaside.

A little gem. We'll come back next time we need a bit of rest and recuperation. The Bolthole was just so peaceful even though it's in a village. The beds are comfy, the lounge cosy and the beach is much closer than we thought. We were on Smugglers beach every day - a 3 min walk!

I think this was actually the best cottage I have been to both in terms of location and presentation...near enough to civilisation not to feel isolated but out of the way enough to let you relax. Great to have The Craster Arms nearby - we ate there a couple of times and really enjoyed it. The property was spotless, and beautifully presented. There were lovely touches throughout...and a general feeling that the owners really cared about the place.

Really good value for money holiday and a surprising spacious little cottage with amazing attention to detail. Love the paella recipe on the wall - very unusual and makes a great impression on entering the cottage.

Really convenient location - for the pub, post box, fish and chips and walks on the beach. Even managed to get to the local church on Sunday and enjoyed meeting the friendly local people who made us feel very much at home.

We loved our holiday at The Bolthole. The cottage is perfect for us and our dog. Beadnell is our favourite seaside resort, the beach is perfect.

This is a perfect, quiet location for walks north and south. The pubs, cafe and shop are all we need. Seahouses within easy reach and it's on a bus route.
