New to our collection: The Nelson

This coastal-meets-tropical-styled, marina view apartment has everything you may need for a relaxing break by the sea. Situated on the edge of Amble’s harbour, at the mouth of the River Coquet, The Nelson has panoramic views of the coast, Coquet Island and Warkworth Castle. Part of a recently built contemporary apartment building, it has a soulful feel, bringing the outside in with its lush greenery and stripped back wooden furniture. Two bedrooms and bathrooms make it ideal for couples holidaying together as well as families, plus the addition of Netflix, a Nespresso coffee machine and underfloor heating throughout mean every kind of comfort is taken care of.

The location

The southern gateway to Northumberland Coast’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Amble is an up and coming destination with its trendy harbour village shops, an excellent seafood centre and popular eateries Sea&Soil, The Old Boat House, Spurreli icecream parlour and The Fish Shack. Named by The Times as one of the top 10 places to live by the sea in 2019, you can enjoy weekend markets, boat trips around Coquet Island to see puffins and grey seals and walks along the promenade. A short drive away is Druridge Bay beach and Warkworth village with its art gallery, beach and castle.

The apartment

There are two places you’ll be immediately drawn to at The Nelson – the open plan living space with its waterfront views and the glass-fronted balcony for spectacular sunsets over dinner. Watch the boats bobbing on the water and listen to the sounds of the waves for a truly relaxing getaway.

The rich colours of the furnishings create a holiday vibe while the ornamental intricacies lend a touch of the exotic to this apartment. The appealing aesthetic of The Nelson is complemented by the practicalities of private parking and lift access for those who are less mobile.
